Former Marseille Star Taye Taiwo Scores On Bursaspor Debut
Published: August 02, 2013Free-kick specialist and former Marseille star Taye Taiwo scored for his new team Bursaspor as they drew with Vojvodina, Serbia in the Europa League on Thursday night.
In Taye Taiwo's first official game for the Crocodiles, he found the net in the 90th minute to tie the game at 2 - 2.
The result means Bursaspor are favorites to qualify for the play - offs round of the Europa League.
Bursa Atatürk Stadium (Bursa) will host the second leg tie next Thursday, August 8.
Due to his lack of first team opportunities at AC Milan, this summer, the 28 - year - old Nigeria international departed the Italian club and signed a three - year contract with Bursaspor.
