EXCLUSIVE: Agent Confirms Real Betis Are Interested In Fegor Ogude
Published: August 01, 2013Vålerenga midfielder Fegor Ogude has emerged as a contender to fill the defensive midfield role at Real Betis, according to the electronic edition of sports daily Estadiodeportivo.
Manager Pepe Mel's preferred candidate is VfB Stuttgart midfielder William Kvist but should he fail to land the Denmark international, the alternative plan is to sign Fegor Ogude, whose contract with Vålerenga expires in December 2014.
Norwegian - Nigerian agent Atta Aneke, who represents Ogude, has confirmed that The Green-and-Whites are interested in his client .
'' There is concrete interest for Fegor Ogude. There has been no official bid yet from Real Betis but they have been in contact,'' says Atta Aneke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Though injury curtailed Fegor Ogude's progress last term, he enjoyed an excellent 2011 season with Vif , netting 6 goals in 25 Tippeligaen matches.
He represented Nigeria at the 2013 African Cup of Nations and the Fifa Confederations Cup.
