Valery Karpin : Emenike Does Not Like To Exercise
Published: July 23, 2013Head coach of Spartak Moscow, Valery Karpin has commented on his rationale for leaving Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike on the bench in the last two matches in the Russian Premier League.
The 26 - year - old attacker, top marksman at February's African Cup of Nations, started the games against Krylya Sovetov and Ural from the bench, lasting a total of 52 minutes in both matches.
Karpin told NTV Plus Nash Football : '' Emenike, who has not played since February. He, like any other African player does not like to exercise, so there will be a condition to gain match practice.''
Emmanuel Emenike underwent arthroscopic surgery early May and missed the last few games in the championship plus the World Cup qualifiers and Confederations Cup.
