Ljungskile Striker Tobi Alabi Goes AWOL
Published: July 16, 2013Tobi Alabi has shown his true character, with his Swedish club Ljungskile unaware of his whereabouts.
Allnigeriasoccer.com's contacts in England has informed that the 19 - year - old extended his short vacation without the permission of the club, and could be sanctioned financially when he returns to Scandinavia.
Tobi Alabi, ex Millwall youth - teamer, was due to return to Sweden on July 8 but the homesick teenager has been 1,120 miles away from his duty post for the past one week.
Perhaps, the Anglo - Nigerian striker is trying to engineer a move away from LSK, whom he signed for three months ago.
Alabi has been linked with Hammarby, Bristol City and Burton Albion this summer, but he is under contract with LSK, meaning a transfer fee should be paid before his departure is sanctioned by the club.
Alternatively, he could mutually terminate his contract and walk away as a free agent.
