Tottenham-linked central defender Tosin makes final decision on his future at Fulham
Published: April 26, 2024Manchester City academy product Tosin Adarabioyo is preparing to bid farewell to Premier League side Fulham.
Italian transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Super Eagles-eligible central defender has informed the leadership of Fulham that he will be leaving the club as a free agent at the end of the 2023-2024 season and his decision is irreversible.
Fulham tried everything possible to retain the services of Tosin beyond this season, offering him a fresh contract that would have made him one of the highest paid players at Craven Cottage but multiple proposals were rejected.
Numerous Premier League clubs have been keeping a close eye on Tosin's situation, given his status as a homegrown player and one of the top central defenders in the division.
In recent weeks, he has bene linked with possible moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
It has been suggested that he would prefer to remain in the English capital, London, putting Tottenham in the pole position for his services.
The Lilywhites have reignited their interest in Tosin after he was extensively pursued last summer.
However, the Anglo-Nigerian player prioritized a move to Monaco, which ultimately collapsed on deadline day due to Fulham's failure to secure a replacement.
Despite missing the majority of the first three months of the campaign due to injury, Tosin has been a pivotal player for Fulham this season, featuring in twenty Premier League matches and has scored two goals.
