Crystal Palace open to accepting N90b plus add-ons for Man Utd, Chelsea-linked Nigerian winger
Published: May 10, 2024According to TEAMtalk, Crystal Palace are open to accepting £50million (equating to N90 billion in Nigerian currency) plus add-ons for their star winger Michael Olise who is being targeted by Manchester United and Chelsea.
After the Eagles successfully convinced the former Super Eagles invitee to stay at the club for one more season by signing a new contract last summer, it appears they are prepared to let him go in the forthcoming transfer window.
The 22-year-old has caught the attention of the Red Devils and the Blues after another impressive campaign for Crystal Palace despite his struggles with injuries.
Olise has been one of the best players at Selhurst Park with only Jean-Philippe Mateta recording more goal involvements in the Premier League than him.
He has 13 goal contributions this term, three less than Mateta and has equaled his tally for last season and could also surpass it with two games left to be played.
Olise has impressed Chelsea who have reportedly reignited their interest in him and are ready to offer a player swap deal to Crystal Palace for his signature.
Manchester United are also ready eyeing a move for him as he is considered an upgrade on Antony but it remains to be seen how much the record English champions are ready to pay for him.
