David Alaba Delighted With Champions League Strike
Bayern Munich wing back David Alaba is delighted with his first minute strike against Juventus in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday.

David Alaba's goal against the Turin giants came after 25:02 seconds and the statisticians have now classified it as the seventh fastest goal in the Champions League.

Speaking to the official website of Bayern Munich,  fcbayern.de, Alaba said:''Obviously I'm thrilled, but what matters is our success as a team.

''I went to bed feeling good. Most of the time, I don't really sleep so well after evening games. I did run over the goal a few times in my head."

The fastest goal scored in the Champions League is credited to former Bayern attacker Roy Makaay, who was on target against Real Madrid after 10:12 seconds in March , 2007.
