East African Breweries Hands =N=13.5 Million To Harambee Stars For Nigeria Trip
Published: March 19, 2013Sponsors of the national soccer team Harambee Stars, East African Breweries have kitted the team with new sets of jerseys and track suits as they head out to Nigeria on Wednesday, reports michezoafrika.com.
At the same time, EABL has handed Stars a cheque worth 7.5 Million shillings (equivalent of =N=13.5M) as they prepare for the Nigerian trip.
Harambee Stars will be departing for Nigeria early Wednesday morning for the match against Nigeria. Previously, Harambee Stars were using kits from sports manufacturer KELME, but will now change to the better designs presented by the sponsors.
This is the second year of sponsorship between Harambee Stars and the beer Brewers. Last year, Football Kenya Federation signed a three year deal between them and EABL to sponsor the national team to a tune of 110 Million Shillings.
