Agent: Joel Obi Is Doing Well And Recovering
Published: March 13, 2013In an interview with Italian media, Renzo Contratto, the agent of Inter Milan midfielder Joel Obi, has confirmed that his client underwent surgery in Finland.
The operation was successful and the Nigeria international could return to the pitch in the next couple of months if his rehabilitation goes according to plan.
''Joel was operated on two weeks ago, is doing well and is recovering. The time is estimated at two months and a half.
'' Important, though, is that the boy is back intact and healthy one hundred percent. If we fail to do so within the end of this season, so as to give a hand to Inter, so much the better,'' said Contratto to fcinternews.it.
In conclusion, Contratto revealed that Obi suffered two relapses of the left thigh injury he had back in May.
The Inter Milan hierarchy suggested that he undergoes surgery in Finland with renowned specialist Sakari Orava.
