MIKEL Settles Row With Mark Clattenburg
Published: December 14, 2012Mikel Obi was handed a three - match ban by the English FA for confronting Mark Clattenburg after Chelsea's match against Manchester United back in October.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Mikel said he has put the matter behind him and is ready to play in any match Clattenburg officiates in future.
''Everything is put to bed, we move on. If he refereed a game there would certainly be no problem.Now it is done, I am glad it is over. I am sure he is glad it is over as well, and the FA. We can move on from here,'' Mikel said.
The Nigeria international recently extended his contract with the European champions until the summer of 2017.
