KENNETH OMERUO Named In Nigeria's Preliminary Squad
Published: December 12, 2012Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has included ADO Den Haag central defender Kenneth Omeruo in his preliminary squad for the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa, reports Haaglandenvoetbal.nl.
It is the teenager's first call up to the National Team, and he would be named in the final selection if he impresses at a training camp in Faro Portugal.
Omeruo, who can also play at right back, did not complete last weekend's game in the Dutch championship against PEC Zwolle because he was slightly injured. On 80', he had to be replaced by Dion Malone.
He has caps for the Under 20 National Team, the Flying Eagles.
