Published: October 22, 2012Ahead of the Champions League meeting with Benfica on Tuesday evening, Spartak Moscow held an open workout tonight at Tarasovka.
According to Russian portal championat.com, the training took place on an artificial field and lasted just under an hour.
Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike trained separately from the rest of his teammates, and his relevance to the match remains covered in mist at this point.
Due to a back complaint, the 25 - year -old attacker did not feature in last weekend's Russian Premier League clash between Spartak Moscow and Anzhi.
