Qatari Club Did Not Meet MARTINS Valuation
Rubin Kazan of Russia striker Obafemi Martins has had his potential move to a top Qatari side put on hold due to financial disagreement, National Mirror can authoritatively reveal.

The deal brokered by a French agent may have hit the rocks as Rubin were asking for a king’s ransom fee of 9 million Euros to price the former Inter Milan star away, who still has a year left in his contract.

The Qatari side also struggled to meet with Martin’s personal fee of 2 million Euros per year in wages.

The Qatari club were reluctant to part with the huge fee but settled to an agreement with the for the Newcastle United striker that they would swoop on him as a free agent next summer.

Martins, who battled injury concerns for the better part of last season which criminally limited his league and Champions League appearances, has since rejoijed his club on their pre-season build up ahead of the new season.
