MARSHALL JOHNSON Extends Honved Stay
Published: June 30, 2012Midfielder Marshall Johnson has extended his contract with Budapest Honvéd FC by an additional season, until June, 2013, the former Belgium based player has told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Johnson said the main reason he decided to extend his contract with Honvéd FC is the club's participation in Europe in the coming season.
Budapest Honvéd FC are featuring in next season's Europa League. They start with an away game against Albanian team Flamurtari Vlore on Thursday. The return leg takes place a week later, July 12 at Bozsik Stadion, Budapest.
The 22-year-old arrived the 13-time Hungarian champions from Juplier League side KAS Eupen in July, 2011. In his first season with Honvéd FC, he made 15 appearances in the championship.
