Official: EMMANUEL EMENIKE Signs New Four-Year Deal With Spartak Moscow
Emmanuel Emenike has extended his stay with Spartak Moscow by penning a new four-year deal which keeps him in the capital until 2016, the official website of the Russian vice-champions reported on Monday.

The Nigeria international was Spartak's leading scorer last season with 13 goals in 22 appearances, despite joining the club in July from Fenerbahce.

''Spartak is a fantastic club. We have great supporters, we're doing well financially and we are playing with some quality matured players who are ready to win trophies likewise myself.

''I am happy to sign the deal and I believe with the new development in the club we are ready to grow better and make history,'' Emenike told tribune.com.ng.

Emenike's new contract ends speculations surrounding his future. He had been linked with Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Lazio in the summer transfer market.
