KENNEDY IGBOANANIKE Trains With First Team
Published: June 23, 2012
Kennedy Igboananike had been involved in a dispute with his Swedish club Djurgården since the league started.
Banished to the Under 21 squad, Igbonananike has not played an official game for DIF. Things got worse when the Nigerian reported Djurgården to an arbitration.
Magnus Pehrsson, Coach of Djurgården, has sensationally disclosed that relationship between club and player is back to normal, and Igbonanike, the club's top scorer for the past two seasons, could be reinstated to the first team squad.
''He has played several matches with our U21, as well as some training with the U21 group recently and done really well. Qualitatively and attitude wise, he deserves therefore again a place in our A-team environment,'' Pehrsson was quoted as saying by fotbolldirekt.se.
