Exclusive: OBINNA OBIEFULE Set For Maccabi Haifa Trials
Published: June 09, 2012
Obinna Obiefule is set for trials with Israeli top flight club Maccabi Haifa, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.
A top scout of The Greens had been monitoring the performance of the 24-year-old Nigerian forward for the past five months.
Now, following Obiefule's performances in Malta last season, where he emerged as the top goalscorer in the BOV Premier League with 34 strikes, Maccabi Haifa want to offer him a contract but he must prove his fitness and pedigree before the management of the club bring out the cheque book.
During the week, Obiefule was named in the Premier League Team of the Year at the Replay Gala Night, sponsored by Gram Collections.
