Malawi Wing Wizard PETER PINDANI Delighted With First Call-Up
Published: June 06, 2012On the recommendations of Malawi FA Chief Executive Officer, Suzgo Nyirenda, Silver Strikers midfielder Peter Pindani has been handed his first international call-up for this weekend's tie against the Super Eagles in Blantyre.
Pindani is delighted to be given an opportunity by Coach Kinnah Phiri to represent the Flames.
He told nyasatimes.com:''I am very happy and thankful to God for being recognized. I will try my best to work hard during training not to let down my fans and all those who fought for my return to the squad.''
Malawi will host Nigeria at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday. The Nigeria delegation leaves Abuja for the Malawian capital on Thursday.
