Exclusive- Agent: Maccabi Haifa Negotiating With Hapoel For NOSA IGIEBOR
Published: June 05, 2012
Allnigeriasoccer.com has contacted Atta Aneke, the Norwegian agent of Nosa Igiebor to clarify the situation of his client. The future of the former Under 23 ace at Israeli Cup winners Hapoel Tel Aviv looks bleak.
Cost cutting measures have been introduced by the Reds for next season, and there are plans to sell their top stars including Nosa Igiebor and Toto Tamuz to the highest bidders.
''There is interest from Maccabi Haifa and they are negotiating with Hapoel Tel Aviv right now. Also, a couple of clubs in Belgium and Holland are monitoring the situation,'' Aneke, who was a former soccer player before injury cut short his career, told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Igiebor, 21, signed a four-year deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv in the summer of 2011. The transfer fee paid to Norwegian club Lillestrom is believed to be around €850,000.
