Osimhen cited as pundit claims Galatasaray training may draw more viewers than some Super Lig games

A Turkish commentator, Serdar Ali Çelikler, has claimed that Galatasaray's training sessions, featuring stars like Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi, could attract more viewers than some Super Lig matches.

This comment comes in the wake of Galatasaray's impressive 3-0 victory over Antalyaspor, where both Icardi and Osimhen were on the score sheet.

Icardi opened the scoring early in the 10th minute and completed his brace in the 52nd minute.

Osimhen, who replaced Icardi in the 78th minute, demonstrated his skill by scoring in the dying moments of the match, with a stunning overhead kick.

With this win, Galatasaray sits atop the Super Lig table with 25 points from nine matches, boasting a league-leading 27 goals scored.

Reacting to their performances, Ali Çelikler, admitted Galatasaray's training session has more qualities than some league games in Turkey.

“I think Galatasaray’s training sessions are of higher quality than some Super Lïg matches,"  Ali Çelikler said on Neo Spor, in quotes revealed by FTR.

Çelikler noted that the quality of Galatasaray's training sessions surpasses that of some league games.

"If Galatasaray puts a tough 11v11 training session on YouTube with Osimhen in one team and Icardi in the other, it will be watched more."

Oismhen has made a significant impact since joining from Napoli last month, scoring three goals and providing three assists in just five appearances in all competitions.

The Napoli loanee missed Nigeria's game against Libya in Uyo, with Victor Boniface and Taiwo Awoniyi deputizing in his absence.
