Napoli star striker Osimhen ready to go AWOL from training to force move to Paris Saint-Germain
Published: July 17, 2024According to French sports daily, L'Equipe citing unnamed Italian sources, Napoli star striker Victor Osimhen is ready to force his way out of Naples to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
The report stated that the 25-year-old is ready to go as far as stopping training to force the Little Donkeys to let him leave with the club insisting PSG and other interested clubs pay his huge €130m release clause.
The Parisians have become the lanky striker's last hope of leaving Naples this summer and he is open to joining the French giants who need another world class forward after the departure of Kylian Mbappé.
There is talk going on between the Nigerian striker's camp and the current French champions but meeting his release clause still remains an obstacle and the club will also like to offload either Kolo Randal Muani or Gonçalo Ramos.
Reports have suggested that PSG are willing to offer one of Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, Kang-in Lee and Manuel Ugarte who has been linked with Manchester United, to Napoli to facilitate their deal for Osimhen.
While there is no confirmation of that report yet, it remains to be seen whether the 2022/2023 Italian Serie A champions will entertain a player plus cash deal for their star striker.
