Two promising Nigerian teenagers are currently in Sweden to undergo trials at Allsvenskan club Kalmar FF.

According to local newspaper Barometern OT, va Fotbolltransfers, Kalmar have started running the rule over two Nigerian talents Nweke Ebere and Aliyu Mohammed.

Kalmar have invited the duo to Sweden for further assessment after Jens Nilsson and Peter Swärdh scouted the two players in Nigeria.

2007-born Nweke is a striker while Mohammed is a left-back who was born in 2008.

It should be noted that the aforementioned players are not eligible to sign deals with Kalmar until they attain the age of majority.

Kalmar intend to keep monitoring Ebere and Mohammed for one to one and a half years before deciding whether to offer them a professional contract.

Exactly a month ago, Kalmar announced the signing of 18-year-old Vince Osuji, who joined the club from De Cardinal Football Academy in Nigeria.

"They have been here and got to know us and the idea is that we follow these players for one to one and a half years and that they can then become relevant first soon after they turn 18. As we did with Vince (Osuji)," Kalmar sporting director  Jörgen Petersson said.

Osuji signed a contract that extends through the 2028 season with Kalmar FF.
