Fulham identify Chelsea defender as potential replacement for Man Utd, Tottenham target Tosin
Published: April 16, 2024Fulham are reportedly looking at Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah as a potential replacement for Tosin Adarabioyo, whose contract situation has attracted interest from Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, according to TEAMtalk.
Tosin's current deal expires at the end of the season, and his impressive performances have made him a target for some of England's top clubs.
With his future uncertain, Fulham are understandably exploring their options at center-back.
While Fulham consider Chalobah as a potential replacement, they are also making huge attempts to tie down Tosin to a new deal and it remains to be seen whether he will put pen to paper.
The Cottagers are preparing a proposal that would make him one of the highest paid players at the club.
Several clubs including Roma, Bayern Munich, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Napoli have been linked with Chalobah in the past.
However a return to Fulham could hold particular appeal for Chalobah due to his family's strong ties to the club.
If Tosin departs despite Fulham's contract offer, Chalobah could be brought in to fill the void left at the back.
The Manchester City academy graduate has also been linked with Liverpool and West Ham United.
Tosin has helped Fulham post three clean sheets in their last seven matches in the Premier League.
