Finidi George has announced his second starting lineup as caretaker manager of the Super Eagles.ahead of Nigeria's international friendly against Mali at Stade de Marrakech, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Before tonight's match, Nigeria's squad was already weakened, with Premier League duo Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka departing for England after the Ghana game.
This, along with the absence of Victor Osimhen, Tyronne Ebuehi, Taiwo Awoniyi and Gabriel Osho, who were listed in the squad for the March internationals, further depleted their ranks.
Finidi has made four changes to the side that registered an impressive 2-1 win over Ghana, with Kenneth Omeruo, Rapahel Onyedika, Jamilu Collins and Moses Simon earning spots in the starting lineup.
In-form Chippa United star Stanley Nwabali makes his tenth consecutive start for the Super Eagles, meaning goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Olorunleke Ojo are on the bench yet again.
Nwabali is expected to be protected by a back three of Chidozie Awaziem, Omeruo and Semi Ajayi.
Wilfred Ndidi and Onyedika are the central midfielders, with Bright Osayi-Samuel and Collins deployed as wingbacks.
The offensive trio are Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and Moses Simon.
Nigeria starting lineup versus Mali: Nwabali; Ajayi, Omeruo, Awaziem, Osayi-Samuel, Collins, Onyedika; Ndidi, Iwobi, Simon, Iheanacho
