Super Eagles starting XI v Bafana Bafana: Nwabali, Onyeka, Osimhen, Osayi-Samuel start; Zaidu out

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that manager Jose Peseiro has announced his starting lineup for Wednesday evening's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semifinal clash with South Africa at the Stade de la Paix, Bouaké.
The big news is that Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi has been omitted from the starting lineup due to fitness issues.
For the first fifteen minutes open to the media in the Super Eagles last training session on Tuesday evening, Sanusi did not take part in any of the exercises, which raised doubts about his availability for the mouthwatering clash.
Those fears have been confirmed as Zaidu has been left out of the starting lineup for the second time in the ongoing tournament.
Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali starts behind a back three of Semi Ajayi, William Troost-Ekong and Calvin Bassey.
Frank Onyeka has shaken off a shoulder injury that led to his substitution against Angola and makes his sixth consecutive start in the number 6 role and joining him in midfield are Alex Iwobi, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ola Aina.
Up front, reigning African Footballer of the Year Victor Osimhen is flanked by Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon.
