The Nigerian Federation confirmed that the CAF Group C fixture of World Cup qualifying has been rescheduled and will now take place on Thursday, November 16 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, kicking off at 1700 hours.
The match has been brought forward by a day as November 17, 2023 was the original date earlier announced this week.
Nigeria's second match in Group C of the World Cup qualifiers will be played on November 20, 2023 at the Amahoro Stadium in Kingali, Rwanda.
As part of their preparations for the World Cup qualifiers, Jose Peseiro's team were held to a 2-2 draw by Saudi Arabia in an international friendly on October 13 and beat Mozambique 3-2 in another friendly three days later.
