Super Eagles camp update: Iwobi, Aribo, 17 others report for international duty pre-Sierra Leone

Everton star Alex Iwobi and Southampton midfielder Joe Aribo are among nineteen players who have reported for international duty in Nigeria's commercial capital, Lagos ahead of the national team's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone.
Twelve other European-based players have also landed in Lagos. They are Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Kenneth Omeruo, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, Moses Simon, Adebayo Adeleye, Samuel Chukwueze and Frank Onyeka.
Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Brightt Osayi-Samuel and Zaidu Sanusi were still being expected as at the time of writing this report.
Enyimba's Olorunleke Ojo, Bendel Insurance's Divine Nwachukwu, Rivers United duo Victor Sochima and Chidiebube Duru started for their respective clubs in the NPFL playoff matches that took place in Lagos on Sunday, and linked up with the squad after the games.
The match between the Super Eagles and the Leone Stars is billed to take place at Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia next week Sunday.
The three-time African champions lead the standings with 9 points which is four more than their opponent.
A draw will ensure their participation in the biggest football competition in the continent next year.
