The Flying Eagles of Nigeria crashed out of the FIFA U-20 World Cup after they were beaten 1-0 by a well-organized South Korean side in the quarterfinals.

Goalkeeper
Chijioke Aniagboso: He was on holiday for most part of the game and his defence let him down in the goal conceded. 5/10
Defenders
Daniel Bameyi: He was Nigeria's best player in the first half as he bumped forward to support his wingers but he couldn't maintain the consistency. 7.5/10
Benjamin Frederick: He was defensively solid and the way he brought out the ball from the back to break down the South Koreans was impressive but could have done better with the goal conceded . 6.5/10
Abel Ogwuche: He was rock solid as always and could have done nothing to prevent the goal. 7.5/10
Solomon Agbalaka: He was okay defensively but should have been more involved offensively. 6/10
Midfielders and strikers
Daniel Daga: He was not as spectacular as he was in previous matches but was as hardworking as always. 5.5/10
Tochukwu Nnadi: He was also hardworking like Daga but didn't offer much when in possession. 5.5/10
Victor Eletu: He showed a moment of brilliance in the first half to beat two of his markers before aiming at the goal but was denied by the goalkeeper. However, he also failed to get involved in the game as much as the coach would have wanted. 5.5/10
Jude Sunday: He was disappointing like other forwards as he struggled against a resilient South Korean side. 5/10
Salim Fago Lawal: He got involved in the build-up in some moments in the first half but was disappointing with his overall performance. 4.5/10
Ibrahim Beji Muhammad: He was poor all game as he found it difficult to get the better of the South Korean defenders. 4/10
The Substitutes
Umeh Emmanuel: He didn't offer much up until the glorious chances that came his way during the extra time which he fluffed. 5/10
Kehinde Ibrahim: He came on at a time Nigeria needed to do better with the possession of the ball and didn't deliver. 4/10
Joshua John: He failed to make a substantial impact when he came on. 4/10
Samson Lawal: He came on late in the game and was not impactful. 4/10
Ibrahim Abdullahi: Despite playing fewer minutes than his teammates he was the poorest and lucky to have gotten away without being sent off. 4/10
