Nigeria manager Jose Peseiro has announced his starting lineup for the national team's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Guinea-Bissau at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro.
Following last Friday's shock loss to the African wild dogs at the National Stadium in Abuja, the Portuguese football tactician has made five changes to the side.
Omonia Nicosia glovesman Francis Uzoho continues in goal - his eighth consecutive start since the appointment of Peseiro.
Former Chelsea star Kenneth Omeruo makes his first start in 428 days for the Super Eagles and another change sees ex-Arsenal U21 skipper Semi Ajayi drafted in, with the duo replacing Kevin Akpoguma and Calvin Bassey.
Omeruo and Ajayi were paired together in central defence at the start of the tactical session last Tuesday to see if they can play together.
Zaidu Sanusi and Bright-Osayi-Samuel complete the Super Eagles' backline, with the Porto man playing at left-back and the Fenerbahce star slotting in at right-back.
Arsenall's Hale End Academy graduate Alex Iwobi, Brentford's Frank Onyeka, Villlarreal's Samuel Chuwueze and Nantes' Moses Simon are named in midfield.
Victor Osimhen will spearhead the attack and he's supported by Terem Moffi.
Super Eagles starting lineup : Uzoho; Osayi-Samuel, Omeruo, Ajayi, Sanusi, Onyeka, Iwobi, Chukwueze, Simon, Osimhen, Moffi.
