QPR manager hopeful Super Eagles center back can start group training next week

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Critchley is hopeful Leon Balogun can resume group training next week.
The Nigeria international has not figured for the Hoops since he was substituted at halftime against Huddersfield on November 8.
But there is good news, with Critchley revealing that the central defender is making good progress from the injury he suffered, though he's working on his own a the moment.
Balogun has missed out on the last eleven games contested by the Londoners in all competitions, including ten in the Championship, and will not be involved in the London derby against Millwalll on Saturday.
The German-born defender joined Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer last August following his release by Glasgow Rangers.
"Taylor Richards has been back out on the grass, but I don’t think he’ll be ready for this weekend – likewise Leon Balogun who we’re hopeful can join in team training next week," Critchley was quoted as saying by QPR's official webpage.
Statistically, Queens Park Rangers have struggled in defence in Balogun's absence, keeping only two clean sheets from a possible eleven, while conceding eighteen goals.
