Flower scores spectacular bicycle kick as Chelsea U18s run riot in 7-1 thrashing of Norwich

Chelsea ran riot in a 7-1 away thrashing of Norwich City in an U18 Premier League match held at the Lotus Training Centre on Saturday afternoon. 

Louis Flower and Chinonso Chibueze were handed minutes with the former going the full ninety and the latter entering the game as a substitute in the 64th minute, while former Chelsea schoolboy Dubem Eze started for the Canaries. 

The match was as good as over at halftime as the visitors had a four-goal advantage courtesy of strikes from Donnell McNeilly (2), Leo Cardoso, Russell-Denny and Flower, while Finley Welch pulled one back for the hosts.

Flower netted Chelsea's fourth goal in the 43rd minute when he headed home a cross from Silcott-Duberry. 

The young Anglo-Nigerian professional also scored in his last league outing in the division against Aston Villa last month. 

Leo Cardoso made it 6-1 after he was picked out by Frankie Runham ten minutes into the second half.

The result sees Chelsea sit third in the U18 Premier League table with nineteen points accumulated from eleven matches.
