Super Eagles striker not thinking of leaving Napoli in January amid Man Utd links

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has made it clear that he is not thinking of leaving Serie A club Napoli in the January transfer window.
The 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner has been linked with a move to the English Premier League with Manchester United among his suitors.
The Red Devils are in the market for a center forward as they seek a replacement for Portugal icon Cristiano Ronaldo who parted company with the Old Trafford outfit last month after an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
Osimhen wants to win silverware with Napoli in the 2022-2023 campaign before making a decision on his future.
The Parthenopeans are first in the Serie A with 41 points accumulated from fifteen matches and have eight points more than second placed AC Milan, while they have qualified for the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League and will compete in the Coppa Italia.
Despite missing four games through injury, Osimhen is the leading scorer in the Italian topflight with nine goals to his name and also scored in a Champions League game against Ajax Amsterdam.
"It's one of the best clubs in Europe and I want to win here," Osimhen told Il Mattino, via Football Italia.
"The future is this moment, try to win something relevant in Italy.
“It’s hard to think about something better than Napoli, one of the best clubs in Italy, right now I am only focused on this season because we haven’t done anything yet. We must win something and then we’ll see what happens."
Signed from Lille in 2020, Osimhen has two and a half years left on his contract with Napoli, whom he joined for a club record fee of 70 million euros, making him the most expensive African-born player in history.
