EFL wrap: Balogun opens account, Tella stars, Adeboyejo closing in on double digits, Afolayan nets winner 

Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the players of Nigerian descent on target for their respective clubs in English Football League matches on Saturday, October 22.

We begin in the Championship. Leon Balogun of all people netted the game-winning goal as table toppers Queens Park Rangers beat his former club Wigan Athletic 2-1 at Loftus Road. 

In what was his eighth game for the Hoops, the Super Eagles center back, with a bullet header, finished off Johansen's corner kick in the 24th minute. 

Still in the Championship, Burnley recovered from two goals down to beat Sunderland 4-2 at the Stadium of Light.

In -form Southampton loanee Nathan Tella halved the deficit four minutes into the second half - his sixth league goal this term.

A division lower, Dapo Afolayan ended a five-game goal drought by netting the winner for Bolton Wanderers in their 3-2 road win versus Accrington Stanley at Wham Stadium in Lancashire. 

The former Chelsea youth teamer capped off an outstanding performance in the 75th minute when he fired into the bottom corner. 

Victor Adeboyejo is closing in on double digits in all competitions after netting his ninth of the season for Burton Albion in a 1-0 win over Cheltenham Town at the Pirelli Stadium. 

Thirteen minutes from time, Burton Albion finally broke the deadlock as Adeboyejo turned the ball in at the near post to secure all three points for the Brewers.
