In the Belgian Pro League, Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu netted a brace for Racing Genk as they beat K.V. Kortrijk 2-1 at the Cegeka Arena.
Onuachu broke the deadlock in the 37th minute and netted the winning goal from the penalty spot eleven minutes from time.
Across the border in France, another Super Eagles striker Josh Maja extended his goalscoring streak to three games in a row as Bordeaux registered a 2-0 home win against FC Metz.
Two minutes into first half stoppage time, Maja celebrated scoring his seventh league goal after converting a spot kick.
In the Finnish Veikkausliiga, out-of-favour Super Eagles striker John Owoeri bagged a brace as IFK Mariehamn secured a 3-2 win over Helsinki IFK at Bolt Arena.
After the 35-year-old broke the deadlock in the 11th minute, Ifeanyi David Onyeanula equalised for the home team in the 31st minute, only for Owoeri to restore IFK Mariehamn's one-goal lead a minute later.
Onyeanula's goal was his first in Helsinki IFK colours since he joined the club in the summer transfer window.
In the Turkish First League, Emeka Eze's brace helped Eyupsor thrash Manisa FK 4-0 at the Eyüp Stadı, opening and closing the scoring in the 47th and 87th minute respectively.
The 26-year-old now has seven goal involvements (6 goals, 1 assists) in eight appearances in the second tier.
