Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro has announced his starting lineup ahead of Tuesday evening's international friendly against Algeria.
Allnigeriasoccer.com's editorial staff brings you eight things to note on the starting lineup to face the Fennec Foxes.
1) The eleven players selected in the starting lineup have an average age of 24.64 years, with Kevin Akpoguma and Moses Simon the oldest at 27.

3) Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Kelechi Iheanacho are the only players in the starting lineup who have played in both the UEFA Youth League and UEFA Champions League.
4) Moses Simon is making his nineteenth consecutive appearance for the Super Eagles, more than any other player in the squad. He will wear the captain's armband in the absence of William Troost-Ekong.
5) Hoffenheim defender Akpoguma makes his first international appearance since starting against Sierra Leone in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in November 2020.
