Potter has earned rave reviews for his work at Brighton & Hove, guiding them to fourth place in the Premier League table with thirteen points from their first six games in the new season.
It was at Östersunds FK that the former Southampton left-back first made his name as a coach, steering the Swedish club to the knockout round of the 2017-2018 Europe League, where they beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Potter managed former Nigeria U20 international Alhaji Gero at Östersunds FK and the striker flourished with the Englishman in the dugout.
Gero played 75 matches in total with Potter on the Östersunds FK bench, scoring 12 goals and assisting six - his highest goal involvement under a single coach.
Potter handed a senior debut to teenage Nigerian defender Odel Offiah in a Carabao Cup clash against Cardiff City in August 2021.
