Super Eagles-eligible attacker Dominic Solanke will undergo a late fitness test to see whether he can be fit to face Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Chelsea Academy product was omitted from the matchday squad for the trip to the Etihad Stadium due to an ankle problem. - the first league game he'd missed since the appointment of manager Scott Parker.
Solanke was involved in every league game played by the Cherries in the Championship last season, finishing as the club's top scorer with twenty-nine goals in 46 appearances.
Parker has revealed that he would make a late call on the availability of the Anglo-Nigerian before the game against the Gunners.
Speaking to the national press in England, Parker said : "The team news will probably be similar to last week.
"Dominic Solanke is a maybe, we’ll have to assess him tomorrow and make a call."
Earlier this month, Solanke signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Vitality Stadium until June 30, 2026.
The 24-year-old joined Bournemouth from Liverpool in January 2019.
