Exclusive : Length of contract signed by West Ham's teenage CB at Celtic revealed
Published: July 27, 2022West Ham United youth teamer Justin Osagie's transfer to Celtic is done and dusted and only an official confirmation from the Scottish Premiership champions is pending.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that the promising Nigerian central defender has already put pen to paper on a three-year contract, keeping him at Parkhead until June 30, 2025.
It is understood that Osagie is already in Glasgow ahead of the confirmation of the deal.
The 17-year-old has been signed for Celtic's reserve team but he will be eligible to play for the senior team if required.
One of his targets for the forthcoming season is to make his debut in the UEFA Youth League, something he would not have achieved had he remained at West Ham United.
Celtic B began the new season with a 3-1 home win over Cowdenbeath, before losing 1-0 to Berwick Rangers FC in their second Lowland League match.
Goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi went the distance in both games, while exciting midfielder Bosun Lawal was in action against the English club.
