Aribo's transfer decision: What is the best option for the all-round midfielder?

Joe Aribo is no doubt one of the most talented footballers in the current Super Eagles squad. His roaming style of play becoming a key element of the national team and his club Rangers.
Having just one year left on his existing contract, Aribo has been linked with moves away from Scotland.
While allnigeriasoccer.com revealed that Aston Villa was not really interested in signing Aribo, other Premier League clubs like Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Fulham are all reportedly interested in signing the Nigerian.
The former Charlton Athletic midfielder has a lot of options on the table for him and allnigeriasoccer will be taking a look at some of these options to arrive at a verdict on which is the best.
Option 1
Aribo could opt to remain at the Gers for one more season thus running his existing contract out. This allows him to leave on a Bosman transfer.
If he performs well, he would have a wider range of interested clubs to choose from with more attractive financial packages and signing-on fees.
Option 2
The 25-year-old midfielder could opt to leave the club this summer to any of the interested clubs aforementioned or any other team that registers interest.
Option 3
The Nigerian could also decide to leave Scotland in January on a reduced transfer fee. This option would also provide Aribo with a wider range of interested clubs.
Option 4
With allnigeriasoccer revealing that the midfielder would not be signing a contract extension, the chances of this happening are close to zero. However, if there is a change of heart, the midfielder could opt to remain with the Lights Blues.
Allnigeriasoccer Verdict
The idea of leaving on a Bosman transfer next summer seems very good with the advantages of having multiple choices to choose from and the financial gain but it is highly risky.
Nothing is guaranteed in football and if Aribo has an off-season or an injury-plagued one, the chances of getting top-tier clubs to come for him will be very low.
So if a good move presents itself this summer, the midfielder would do well to take it rather than playing a highly risky game.
