Three important things Super Eagles star needs to consider amid links with Arsenal, Spurs

Nigerian hitman Victor Osimhen has been linked with moves to Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur amongst other clubs.
The Napoli striker is currently one of the hottest properties in world football due to his performance last season and the consistent improvement in his game since he burst onto the scene a few years ago.
While it is not yet known if the 2022 Serie A U23 Player of the Year will be making a move this summer, allnigeriasoccer.com highlightss three important things for the ex-Lille striker to consider before a potential move to either of the aforementioned Premier League clubs.
Playing time
This is the most important. Despite his goalscoring record and consistency, it is easy to forget that Osimhen is just 23 years old.
Strikers tend to hit their peak within the age range of 26-30 years. By this logic, Osimhen is still at a tender age for his position.
For such a young striker, playing time is extremely important for continued growth and development. Before Osimhen joins any top team, he has to consider the playing time he is likely to get.
Tactics
Osimhen is suited to an attacking style of play. Any team he considers joining must be a team with attacking fundamentals.
A talented player in the wrong tactical setup can become an ordinary one very quickly. An example is Netherlands midfielder Donny Van De Beek at Manchester United.
The Dutchman was among the players who were nominated for the Ballon D'Or award before his transfer to Manchester United.
Due to wrong tactics amidst other issues, he was loaned to Everton where he performed averagely.
Squad role
This is another angle Osimhen has to consider before joining any top team. What role will he be given? Will he be a key member of the team or just another player who makes up a bigger machine?
Players are also humans and they thrive in different environments and responsibilities. Some players perform best when under pressure while others wilt away.
Osimhen is a mentality monster and has that bit of "bullish" attitude on the pitch which makes him a sort of player that would thrive when given a bigger responsibility in the squad.
Nigeria witnessed that when they played against Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers, the Napoli striker was immense and could have singlehandedly dragged the Super Eagles over the line if things had gone his way.
This mentality is what Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp loves to have in his players. His recruitment of players like Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and so on are testament to this.
Osimhen belongs to this category and he should consider what role he will be given before joining a Premier League club.
