Flying Eagles player ratings vs Ghana: Sholumade impresses, Abdullahi in shop window, Muhammad prospect

The Flying Eagles began their qualification campaign for the CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations at the sub regional tournament in Niamey, Niger Republic with a 2-0 win over defending champions Ghana on Sunday evening.
Izuchukwu Michael presents the player ratings.
The Starters
Nathaniel Nwosu : The keeper had little to perturb him as the Ghanaian side rarely troubled him. 6/10.
Augustine Njoku : The right-back joined the attacking phase brilliantly and more importantly did his defensive job astutely. 7.5/10.
David Sholumade : The central defender made vital blocks and interceptions. Looks a real talent. 8/10.
Oluwatosin Adegbite (c) : The skipper led well and was a good partner for Sholumade. 7/10.
Lekan Oyedele : Was available to mop up when the Ghanaians came flying forward for an equaliser . 6/10.
Daniel Daga : Lost possession a few times in the game. 5/10.
Samson Lawal : Covered ground and assisted his teammates in defence. 6/10.
Aminu Mohammad : An intelligent midfielder who attacked and defended brilliantly. 7/10.
Ibrahim Muhammad : Scored a brilliant goal when he rounded the Ghanaian goalkeeper from a counter attack in the 5th minute. Prospect. 8/10.
Ibrahim Yahaya : Twinkle - toed. His touches are delicate but his final balls needs to get better. 7/10.
Adams Olubi : The only foreign based player on the roster. Had chances to score but was denied on those occasions. 6/10.
The Substitutes
Ahmed Abdullahi : Came in the second half and was very impressive. His ferocious shot from inside the area put the Flying Eagles in a commanding position.
On the radar of the two Manchester-based Premier League clubs as well as Borussia Dortmund. 7.5/10.
