Respected Italian pundit labels Osimhen third best striker in the world, after Mbappe and Haaland

Respected Italian pundit Valter De Maggio has sensationally labelled Victor Osimhen the third best striker in the world, after PSG's Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland.
De Maggio sang the praises of the Nigeria international, claiming that the Napoli number 9 is better than Juventus goalscoring sensation Dusan Vlahović.
Osimhen was in magnificent form before suffering a facial injury in November 2021, scoring nine goals in fourteen appearances across all competitions and on the international stage, tallied four goals in 2022 World Cup qualifying.
His physical attributes, pace and ability to run into spaces have been key for Napoli in their push for the Scudetto.
De Maggio reckons that Osimhen will move on to bigger things sooner rather than later amid speculation linking the Super Eagles star with Premier League clubs.
"I hope so, but I don't think Osimhen stays at Napoli for a long time. For me he is the strongest striker in Serie A, even more than Vlahovic who remained in Italy," De Maggio said on Radio Kiss Kiss.
"But I don't think Osimhen stays there too long. For me he is the strongest striker around, after Mbappè and Haaland "
Since returning from injury on January 17, Osimhen has managed two goals in nine appearances.
