Allnigeriasoccer.com, regarded as the most reputable outlet on Nigerian players abroad,
brings you the Nigeria-eligible players that found the net for their
respective clubs in UEFA Europa League play-off matches on Thursday, August 26.
At štadión Tehelné pole, Slovan Bratislava and Olympiakos shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw, with two Nigerian strikers on target.
Four minutes before half-time, Henty Ezekiel equalised for the home team when he tapped home emphatically from close range to make it 1-1 after he was left unmarked in the box, cancelling out El-Arabi's effort.
In the 54th minute, Henry Onyekuru celebrated his first goal in Olympiakos' colours, curling the ball in following a quickly taken free-kick. The Greek giants are through to the group stage.
Slavia Prague's Ubong Ekpai opened the scoring in their 2-1 loss to Polish giants Legia Warsaw at Stadion Wojska Polskiego.
On the stroke of half-time, the former Nigeria U23 international blasted home a scorcher from the edge of the box - his first goal for the Czech champions following his summer move.
Marvin Egho's opening goal for Randers was also in vain as the Danish side crashed out of the competition after losing 2-1 to Galatasaray at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadi.
A goal from Egho was the difference at half-time, the Austrian-Nigerian directed a sublime header beyond the goalkeeper after a lovely cross from the right wing by 2019 Dream Team VII invitee Tosin Kehinde.
