Two-time World Cupper with Super Eagles returns to full training at Spartak Moscow
Published: August 24, 2021
Former Nigeria international Victor Moses is on the comeback trail after missing the last three competitive matches played by Spartak Moscow.
The Red and Whites have taken to social media to upload a photo of the ex-Chelsea star training with the rest of his teammates on Tuesday, August 24, adding that he has recovered from his injury.
Spartak Moscow are preparing for their next game in the Russian Premier League against Sochi scheduled to hold at the Otkrytiye Arena in Moscow this Thursday.
It remains to be seen if Moses is fit enough to be included in the starting line-up against Sochi.
Prior to his spell on the sidelines, he had started all the matches contested by Spartak in this season's Russian Premier League.
The 30-year-old suffered muscular problems after colliding with a Nizhny Novgorod player on matchday three, leading to his substitution in the 36th minute.
Moses represented Nigeria at the 2014 and 2018 World Cup, playing five games in both tournaments held in Brazil and Russia respectively.
