Allnigeriasoccer.com, regarded as the most reputable outlet on Nigerian players abroad,
brings you the Nigeria-eligible players that found the net for their
respective clubs in league matches played in Europe and Africa on Monday, August 23.
We begin in the Turkish Super Lig. 2017 Super Eagles invitee Anthony Nwakaeme made it two goals in as many games to help Trabzonspor claim a 2-1 win over Sivasspor at Senol Guneş Spor Kompleksi.
Two minutes into the second half, the veteran winger was there to volley home the rebound sweetly after a poor clearance by the opposition defence.
Olarenwaju Kayode, Azubuike Okechukwu and Leke James tasted action for Sivasspor.
John Ebuka is worth keeping an eye on. The 24-year-old registered his second hat-trick of the season as ENPPI defeated Al Masry 3-1 at Borg El Arab Stadium.
In the 39th minute, he capitalized on an error by the Al Masry defence to slot home, scored the second goal for his team from the spot in the 72nd minute and completed his hat-trick four minutes later after a counter attack.
Earlier in the season, Ebuka netted three goals in one match against Bank El Ahly.
