Glasgow Rangers' Super Eagles No 10 reaches his highest market value
Published: June 29, 2021
Super Eagles number 10 Joe Aribo has reached a career-high market value based on the latest update by Transfermarkt website on Monday, June 28.
Aribo is estimated to be worth 6.5 million euros (approximately N3.84 billion in Nigerian currency), an increase of three million euros compared to his value on January 18, 2021.
The former Charlton Athletic man had an outstanding season at Rangers, helping Steven Gerrard's side win the Scottish Premiership for the first time since 2011 and reach the last sixteen of the Europa League.
Overall, he contributed eight goals and seven assists from 42 appearances over the course of the 2020-2021 campaign.
Aribo is ranked number five among all players at Rangers, ninth when it comes to players in the Scottish Premiership, and 190th among players classed as central midfielders.
As for Nigerian players, the 24-year-old is ranked sixteenth, and 142nd among all 1996-born players.
Aribo pulled out of the Nigeria squad for their international friendlies with Cameroon earlier this month due to injury.
