Manager Gernot Rohr has named three Super Eagles players who will definitely start Tuesday evening's friendly against Cameroon at Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Austria.
The Super Eagles are seeking to get back to winning ways after they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by the Indomitable Lions in the first of the two friendlies three days ago despite dominating the game.
Rohr has confirmed that APOEL Nicosia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, Galatasaray center-back Valentine Ozornwafor and Kano Pillars winger Ahmed Musa will be named in the starting lineup tomorrow.
The German football tactician is left with a limited choice in the center of defence following the injury suffered by William Troost-Ekong on Friday, while the likes of Kenneth Omeruo, Semi Ajayi, Leon Balogun and Kevin Akpoguma were not picked in the finalized squad list because they were recovering from injuries.
Speaking to the Super Eagles Media Team at the end of training on Monday, Rohr said : "The observations are positive because now some of the players who arrived from Nigeria especially who were not so fit for the first game recovered well, and we could have some interesting training sessions so I think we'll be better physically.
"There will be some changes in the team, of course the goalkeeper will change also.
"For this match Francis will start the game, then also Musa will start now, he's fit, and we lost Ekong so Valentine will come in for the first time.
"This matches are made to test some players who could not play so much and also to perhaps to have a new organization, we will try something different but we will want to win it also.
"We have never won in this country Austria, four games now but the most important is not the result, the most important is to progress, to learn, to work."
