Length of contract former Chelsea schoolboy Obileye has agreed with Scottish club Livingston

More details have emerged of Ayo Obileye's agreement with Scottish Premiership side Livingston.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that the former Chelsea schoolboy will be joining Livingston on a permanent deal when he comes off contract with Championship outfit Queen of the South at the end of this month.

Obileye has agreed a two-year contract with Livingston and when it is activated, it will keep him at The Lions until the end of the 2022-2023 season.

Queen of the South had explored the possibility of retaining the versatile central defender on their roster for next season but the player was intent on a transfer to Livingston.

Playing mostly as a central defender, Obileye boasts a tally of nine goals in thirty-three appearances in the Championship and only Hearts' Liam Boyce has managed to score more goals in the division.

The 26-year-old was called up to train with Nigeria's U23 national team before their trip to Brazil for the 2016 Olympic Games.

His former clubs include Chelsea, Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton Athletic and Eastleigh.
