Lorient striker Moffi reaches highest market value after scoring seven goals in 2021
Published: April 09, 2021
Lorient striker Terem Moffi has reached his highest market value on the back of his fine form since the start of 2021, with seven goals in all competitions.
According to Friday's update from the Transfermarkt portal, Moffi is now valued at eight million euros, the same fee Lorient paid KV Kortrijk to secure his services in October 2020.
The 21-year-old's previous highest market value was the six million euros he attained on October 15, 2020.
Moffi's new valuation is a testament to the progress he has made over the last one and a half seasons as he was rated at 350,000 euros in January 2020.
He ranks 114th among all players in the Ligue 1, first when it comes to Lorient players, eighth among all Nigerian players, 165th among center forwards and 87th among all players born in 1999.
Riteriai received fifteen percent of the fee from his transfer to Lorient due to a sell-on clause.
The 21-year-old was placed on standby for the Super Eagles Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against the Republic of Benin and Lesotho in March.
