Super Eagles Striker Osimhen To Miss Napoli's Europa League Clash Against AZ Alkmaar

Victor Osimhen will not be available for selection when Napoli face off with Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League on Thursday night, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The 2015 U17 World Cup winner is still undergoing rehabilitation after sustaining a shoulder injury while playing for the Nigeria national team against Sierra Leone on November 13.
Osimhen was forced off the field in the 78th minute against the Leone Stars and his attempts to recover for the Europa League matchday five fixture have been unsuccessful.
The Blues manager Gennaro Gattuso has selected twenty players for the trip to the Netherlands and the club's most expensive signing in history is not part of the group.
Today, Osimhen continued the therapies and carried out personalized work on the field, after which he worked out in the gym.
The 21-year-old has already missed games against AC Milan, AS Roma and Rijeka due to the ailment.
Napoli don't want to rush the striker's return to action so as to avoid him suffering a relapse.
